About Sarah Barker:
I am passionate about animal welfare and passing on my knowledge. My specialised area is horses and other members of the equine family. I am qualified upto BHS stage 4, and horses are my life , I have worked in welfare with horses , donkeys and various livestock.I believe all animals deserve a second chance and I am currently retraining a pony that has hardly been handled. I worked at Millfield school , and worked my way up from groom to stable manager of a 65 horse yard. I have been an FEI registered stable manager for para dressage international competitions . I have lectured and trained students for their British horse society exams. I am organised and hard working . For fun I have my own horse a new forest pony I became the owner of as he was hard to handle and not trusting , he is fantastic and a cross country machine. I am a cat lady and mainly rehome rescues including ones with special needs, relaxing at home I like crafts and making miniature items, I draw and read and occasionally help out a horse stunt team looking after jousting horses at their shows which is hard work but fun.
