Experience
In my current role as an Administrative Officer at Hacking & Paterson Property Factors I frequently demonstrate my ability to work effectively within my team and across the organisation. I can confidently use the CPL Residential Property Management database to gather accurate customer information. I also manage various tasks such as email enquiries, document preparation for board meetings through Microsoft Office. I have also shown careful attention to detail in the management of the electricity supply portfolio and coordination of accurate billing to customers.
During my time at Glasgow Caledonian University, I served as an International Postgraduate Admissions Administrator, where I processed admissions decisions, communicated with academic schools, and ensured compliance with UK visa regulations. I feel my experience in liaising with various teams and stakeholders demonstrates my effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Prior to that I was the Foundation Programme Administrator at the University of Glasgow’s School of Medicine. I felt this role highlighted my organisational skills in managing teaching activities, student support, course timetabling, new student enrollment, record-keeping, and as well as being a PA for the Programme Director. I was also able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
During my time at NHS Education for Scotland, I gained experience in property and facilities management administration, where I utilised systems such as Jira service desk for processing staff enquiries and PECOS for creating purchase orders. My role also involved liaising with internal NHS Education departments, regional NHS Healthboards, and external bodies such as Public Health Scotland and the Scottish Government. I feel this demonstrates my ability to work with different stakeholders and manage administrative systems effectively.
Additionally my previous role at Glasgow Kelvin College as a Learning & Teaching Officer equipped me with experience in implementing health and safety guidelines, supporting students, and engaging with student associations. I also gained proficiency in using Microsoft Teams, Sway, and Adobe Spark reflecting my adaptability to different technologies and platforms.
Overall I feel I have diverse administrative experience, attention to detail, organisational skills, effective communication skills, and ability to work with various stakeholders which would make me a strong candidate for the position.
