Sayed Hamid

I am a self-motivated, dynamic, and seasoned IT professional gaining extensive experience and my primary skills set by providing above and beyond; 1st, 2nd, and some 3rd line IT systems and project support – this has been across central government organisations, local government departments, charitable organisations, and the NHS, as well as in the private sector.

Working predominantly on BAU contract roles and projects, I have been able to gain extensive work experience in a variety of roles across various organisations and feel I have gained vital and relevant experience to fit well into my new role - this has been demonstrated in previous roles whilst working closely alongside service delivery experts and project managers to deliver an effective service to my user base – this experience enables me to thrive in all environments, to continue to develop my skills set and to provide a high standard of service for any prospective clients or end users. 

I have been involved in several technical projects, some of these key projects and deliveries include:   

• Returning to the UK Houses of Parliament for my 3rd role to work on the General Election 2024 project and the Windows 11 and Hardware Refresh Project – providing Office 365 and Windows 10 support to Members of Parliament, members of the House of Lords and House and constituency staff. Working on the Hardware Refresh following end-of-life and Windows 11 Upgrade project.

• Returning to the NHS at North Central London UCLH ICB to provide essential support to all users based in GP’s, pharmacies, dentists, and medical centres across ICT, securely administering NHS user mailboxes, as well as shared mailboxes inside of NHSMail Portal, registering and deregistering transitioning and migrating users.  Administering user accounts, new starters, users, leavers, joiners, and movers, within Active Directory, Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Intune.

• Returning to the UK Ministry of Justice to TeamLead the deployment phase of the Windows 7 to Windows 10 and Office 365 migration - this included the laptop refresh and Apple iOS and Android mobile device upgrades.   

• Using Azure Active Directory and PowerShell to successfully provision Microsoft Teams for new staff and student’s intake. Office 365 global admin for multiple secondary schools, creating new users and Office 365 groups, converting pre-existing Office 365 and Active Directory security groups to Microsoft 365 Groups in ExchangeAdmin Centre to configure and apply organisation wide meeting policies.
