Söderberg Stockbridge, Edinburgh (May 2021 - September 2021)
During the Edinburgh festival Scarlett worked full time as a front of house barista where there was a focus on the preparation and display of food as well the maintaining of a pleasant and vibrant atmosphere. This role required an understanding of the range of coffee and food on offer and an ability to convey this information to the customers. During busier periods efficient communication between staff members and an ability to shift between roles without disruption was essential. Other responsibilities included the monitoring and replenishing of stock.

REPRESENT Comms @ The Royal Highland Show and Social media content exec (June 2019) Scarlett supported the team in the press office and took notes at briefings. She briefed and
accompanied photographers on shoots, ensuring that they delivered on what was required and proof read captions.
Blue Bear Cafe, Edinburgh (May 2018 - September 2018)
Scarlett was a front of house barista greeting people as they entered the cafe. Her role included table service, liaising with the kitchen staff and taking bookings from customers over the phone. Working well within a team and being responsible for opening and closing which included cashing up and cleaning the cafe ready for the next day.
Cafe Uneeka, Truro (June 2015 - September 2017)
Scarlett was trained in making barista standard coffee and serving food in a busy independent cafe in Truro. While maintaining excellent customer service Scarlett had many responsibilities including taking care of the whole cafe at times during shifts, ordering from suppliers, posting on social media, cleaning, opening and closing the cafe which included handling money and banking. She thrived working in a team environment whilst taking pride in completing everyday tasks to a high standard.

Uneeka, Truro (June 2015 - September 2017)
Alongside working in the cafe Scarlett worked in the adjacent homeware store. Again customer service and attention to detail was of the upmost importance. There was also a real emphasis on the staff understanding the range of products in the store and this was something Scarlett took an active interest in, often assisting managers in making decisions about new stock. Further responsibilities included cashing up and organising stock in the store room.
Fee Turner Catering company (2015)
Working at events such as parties with over 150 guests Scarlett waitressed within a large team serving drinks, canapés and food. This role required attention to detail and team work as they set up dining areas and helped prepare food before the event.
