About Semphi Keneuoe:

My journey has been characterized by a relentless pursuit of personal and societal transformation driven by the belief that my abilities should never be overshadowed by physical differences.

Experience

I am a  diversity and inclusion advocate with a considerable amount of experience in disability inclusion. My professional journey spans multiple impactful roles, including my work as the Insight Centre Coordinator at the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation where I coordinated the establishment of Visual impairment section at the State Library to ensure full accessibility to visually impaired library users and advised the foundation on meaningful engagement of people with disabilities.

As a Technical Advisor for Assistive Technology with the International Disability Alliance, I provided strategic guidance on appropriate assistive technologies for the ATScale Project, with a specific focus on visual impairment. I also served as a Youth Ambassador for Secondary Education in Africa with the Mastercard Foundation, where she advocated for disability inclusive education initiatives in Southern Africa. Currently I serve the UNAIDS-LSO as the Disability and Inclusion Officer where I contributes to the design and implementation of disability inclusive HIV strategies in Lesotho.
