About SHAH YUNN NAING:
MSc student in Pharmaceutical Science with Industrial Practice at the University of Greenwich with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and hands-on experience in both volunteer and paid roles. I am seeking opportunities across various sectors in the pharmaceutical industry and eager to apply my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to contribute to any position, while further developing my knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical research, quality assurance, or any other area that aligns with my background and goals. Work permission: I am permitted to work-full time because a year in industry is an integrated part of my course. Upon graduation, I am eligible for 2 years’ Graduate Route work rights. This means I have 3 years continuous work permission from the beginning of my employment.
Experience
My professional experience is rooted in pharmaceutical science and quality control principles. I have gained significant practical exposure through my MSc with Industrial Practice, preparing me for roles requiring high precision and adherence to strict regulatory standards. My key competencies include:
Quantitative Analytical Skills: Proficient in complex laboratory techniques for sample analysis, data collection, and meticulous documentation, with a focus on analytical method principles.
GMP and Quality Assurance: Strong theoretical understanding and practical application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Control (QC) protocols essential for maintaining product integrity in regulated environments.
Research Project Execution: Successfully managed and executed a 60-credit Master’s research project (PHAR 1059), demonstrating independent project management, problem-solving, and the ability to meet rigorous deadlines.
Education
My education provides a strong, dual-science foundation directly relevant to pharmaceutical and research roles:
MSc Pharmaceutical Science with Industrial Practice
Relevant Modules: Advanced Analytical Methods, QA/QC Principles, Colloids and Structured Materials, and a major 60-credit Research Project.
Achievement: Completed taught component with an overall weighted average of 69.00% (High Merit), underpinned by a Distinction-level score (79%) in the Research Project.
BSc Biomedical Science
Foundation: Established a comprehensive understanding of human biology, chemistry, and scientific methodology, serving as the technical basis for my Master's specialization.
