  • Creating job packs and making sure they are fluid on our CRM system before distributing them to sub-contractors.
  • Programming work to ensure we hit our monthly targets.
  • Managing our direct labour gangs by issuing work, communicating with them daily and feeding back any issues to relevant departments such as street works, civils, splicing to get these issues rectified.
  • I have very good relationships with sub-contractors, direct labour as well as other departments in the office. I make sure everything is communicated so no piece of information is missed.
  • While managing my day-to-day projects I also take the time to learn how the other sectors within the office work so I can widen my knowledge within the industry as well as understand how these will affect my projects.
  • I have been on multiple site visits to also expand my knowledge and understanding to teach myself what the work is that I am creating and issuing out daily.
  • I set up and lead contractor meetings.
  • I input all information onto our tracking system and make sure everything is up to date ready for the Project Manager and Area Manager to review ahead of time for their meetings.

 

Compliance Coordinator

  • Leading and arranging internal training sessions with teams as we mobilised the Network Rail contract.
  • Assisting to develop manuals/user guides for different areas of the business
  • Support with carrying out internal audits as requested by the Head of Compliance and Assurance.
  • Managing the Rail induction packs across all offices of the business and making sure they are compliant before individuals go out to work.
