I am a creative individual with a passion for fashion and art. Office assistant -
I have been at TLT Solicitors as an office assistant for a couple of months and have been very grateful for my time spent within this role.
This has been my most challenging job to date, but I have learned a lot from my coworkers and about myself. These skills I have gained and improved upon will help me move forward within my own personal life but also for my ongoing career path.
Skills learnt;
- Prioritising tasks based on how important they are and what the SLA is for that task.
- Able to work within a fast paced environment with a team who each has their own goals for
the day.
- Sending reports via Microsoft word/excel/PowerPoint to clients.
- Calculating fees for the services we offer.
- Emailing initial correspondence to a wide variety of clients.
- Responding to any queries clients may have regarding an ongoing case.
- Filing large sums of documents to their corresponding folders as well as scanning in important
documents and storing the physical files to their respective locations.
Amschela – 03/2022 - 10/2022 Office assistant & fashion designer –
While with Amschela for 6 months under the kickstart scheme I curated and relayed content across 2 social media channels Google business and LinkedIn, with the help of colleagues ensuring the companies cohesive online brand identity.

Once a month using curated information gathered from previous months data to create Canva
data reports.
Sharing fashion knowledge with the design team whenever they needed an extra pair of
creative eyes.
Collecting and writing up internal newsletters for the company using brand information from the previous month.
Taking charge of all logistics including Asana, Google analytics, Excel.

Allsaints taught me how to work as part of a team and how to be myself while still being part of a brand that is so passionate about brand identity and community.

Skills learnt;
- Using my keen eye to assist with visual merchandising tasks to understand the psychology of what the customer sees.
- Being able to learn fast with new products that come into the store.
- Knowing the fabric of each garment and how to care for each high end product.
- Offering my skills with small administrative tasks in the office whenever my manager needed
assistance this includes Microsoft programme’s and internal software used by Allsaints.
Karen Millen 09/2018 – 08/2019 Stylist –
Working for Karen Millen was a great opportunity. I was taught how to cater to what each type of customer would be interested in, while also recommending the right type of product.
Skills learnt;
- High end customer service skills greatly enhanced while working with Karen Millen’s clientele.
- Replenish the shop floor efficiently and independently.
- Being able to effectively notice the shop floor visually and use merchandising skills to
confidently move stock or replenish when needed.
- High end product knowledge and what to recommended to each client based on age, size etc.
House of Fraser – 11/2017 – 08/2018 Sales assistant –
The skills I learnt from this job have provided me with skills I took with me throughout my job history. Working in a high-end department store meant I was able to see and look after a wide range of brands and gained knowledge in a lot more categories. For example; Workwear, sportswear and accessories.
Skills learnt;
- Recommend products to a large range of customers.
- Being able to multitask efficiently while working a busy area during weekend shifts.
- Conflict resolving while being able to focus on what the customers needs while keeping
everyone calm.
- Hitting daily and weekly target figures with the help of the team.
