Shaun Agab McKey

I’m a motivated and adaptable individual with a strong background in hospitality and customer service. Having worked in a variety of fast-paced environments — from cafés and restaurants to food trucks — I’ve developed excellent teamwork, leadership, and organisational skills. My experience as a Sous Chef at Veeno Edinburgh, along with roles at Kilau Café and Five Guys, has taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and deliver consistently high standards of service.

I hold a degree in Zoology from the University of Aberdeen, where I also volunteered with several conservation organisations. These experiences strengthened my ability to work effectively in teams, adapt to new challenges, and stay focused and dependable in any setting.

Fluent in English and French, and conversational in Spanish, I enjoy connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Whether leading a team or supporting as a team member, I take pride in being reliable, approachable, and dedicated to providing excellent service — and I’m always eager to learn and take on new challenges.
