My interest in risk and compliance particularly stemmed from taking part in a banking risk and compliance masterclass with Udemy. Having completed this, I gained an insight into how the banking industry works. This included the different types of bank products and how they are marketed, the major types of banking risks including risk management and compliance procedures, and the business model of banks. 

The subjects that I undertook at A Level as well as my foundation year have really increased my interest in this area, which I believe has now put me in good stead for pursuing a career in this industry. 

Sep 2022 - Dec 2022  (Part-time) City Pharmacy 

• Dealt with various patient and customer enquiries over the counter.
• Sold health and beauty products, including taking over the counter payments and prescriptions for processing. 
• Stock taking which involved reporting discrepancies and low stock levels  to management.
• Checking deliveries and replenishing shelves where necessary.
• Proactively approached customers who required assistance or discretion to their enquiry, whether that of a general or sensitive nature.

Jul 2022 – Aug 2022 (Full-time, Summer) Leemar Group Ltd

• Undertook full administrative support duties including filing and organisation of business correspondence.
• Responded to telephone and email enquiries from suppliers and customers.
• Performed general administrative tasks such as copying, scanning and data input.
• Shadowed senior staff whilst raising quotations, order processing, documentation and invoicing.

• Supported children of Primary school age to develop and enhance their Mathematics. 
• Identifying gaps in knowledge and understanding.
• Providing guidance with different learning strategies and techniques. 
• Planning lessons, resources and homework.
