Support Worker
Sunrise Health Care
2013 to 2014
I worked as a domiciliary carer, which involved providing different needs. For example, I went from house to house, visiting service user's houses and having one to ones with the service user. During visits, tasks performed would include personal care, assisting them with their cooking or cleaning. With this experience I feel that I am confident in working alone if required of me. In addition to this, I also worked with several service users who required palliative care. I provided them with support and also support for their families.
The reason for me leaving this job, is that I feel I work better as part of a team, rather than lone working, and I wanted more challenges within my caring career.
