Silva Beshi

Skilled Graphic Designer who is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite. Working on multiple different projects at L&Q gave me the opportunity to learn the creative process, develop my software knowledge, work under tight deadlines and become more confident interacting with clients via email and in person.

I have been travelling in Thailand for the last seven months to experience adventure, learn more about myself, develop new perspectives, relationships and have fun. I did a 200 hour yoga teacher training course and a two week Vipassana meditation course for personal development and the chance to learn something new. Travelling abroad provided me the tools to live my life in a way that improved my mental and physical wellbeing, awareness, and social skills.

I am able to use this knowledge in the workplace to better manage stress and increase my performance, communication skills and morale.

Began Graphic Design as an apprentice and was immediately immersed in the industry. I was challenged from day one, learnt how to cope with tight deadlines, gained practical experience when designing the work and learning from mistakes and liaised with clients via email and in person. 

I was also studying a Graphic Design BTEC and NVQ course at the same time which really taught me organisation and multitasking skills. 

I did a BTEC and NVQ in Graphic Design where I had a tutor catch up with me every week and look over my work. I was doing this whilst also designing for L&Q. i was taught both theory and fundamentals in design as well as the practical side of it.
