Simon Jensen

I’m Danish, currently studying architecture in the UK. Having lived abroad my whole life, I am culturally aware and have been brought up as an open-minded individual. My interest for architecture developed during my time in Shanghai, and I have been immersing myself since. My belief is that architecture is an interdisciplinary subject, and for this reason it is important to have a critical understanding of fundamentals and first principles in order to solve novel problems.

bKL Architecture—Shanghai, China Internship Summer 2021 

Took part in a high-rise competition based in Shenzhen, China. Completed drawings for the 3 first levels of the high-rise plaza. Consisted of 2D drawings as well as 3D modeling.

Tomas Kitchen Living—Cambridge, UK Design Assistant Summer 2020 

I worked alongside the director and designer to create 3D visualisations of client kitchens based on 2D drawings. I also assisted with the installment of the final product.

Upwork Freelancing 2020-2022 

I worked a variety of projects ranging from 2D drawings to high quality 3D renders. Some projects were architecture based whilst many were product design or graphic/logo design.

dwp Architect Firm—Shanghai, China Internship Summer 2017 

I spent time gaining insight on the day-to-day operations of an international architecture firm, whilst learning industry standard CAD softwares.
