I have performed in a development role at senior level for a company with ambition to become a main provider, during that I supported a partnership organisation through secondment. Both roles required competencies similar to my previous position, focusing on collaboration with multiple main providers using Adult Learner Loan funding and the Adult Education Budget (AEB). By understanding our market position, I identified growth opportunities, resulting in a 22% growth (£400,000) on an initial £1.8m funding volume and expanding our reach to various regions. I supported a subcontracting partner with their hairdressing and barbering apprenticeship program and AEB, improving employer engagement and significantly raising apprenticeship achievement rates impacted by COVID-19. For the AEB programs, I enhanced the quality of delivery and program management, addressing post-pandemic challenges and improving achievement rates. Unfortunately, the provision was withdrawn due to factors I identified, low employer engagement and impractical geographic location post-pandemic.
Education
My education at degree level, though without direct correlation to my role, equipped me with skills to plan, manage, reason, work independently in the inception and formulation of ideas, to then lead and head up teams to deliver on concepts turning them into reality. The following decades since my degree have given opportunity to flexibly adapt those skills is many examples. My most relevant education? life experience really.
