GAMMA Telecommunications - Group wellbeing manager ( 12 month FTC)
September 2024 - September 2025
- Launch and implementation of Global wellbeing/EDI Strategy: Formalised and industrialised a comprehensive wellbeing approach; Mental, Social, Physical, Financial across Gamma's international workforce, developing and embedding a clear strategy that aligns with broader people and culture objectives.
- Sourcing and implementing Global Employee Assistance programme: Successfully led the sourcing, negotiation, and full integration of a new international EAP, onboarding 2,200 employees across Europe, collaborating with required business areas for a seamless delivery and Teams integration. Achieved a 20% sign up in the first month of launch.
- Policy & Process Architect: Created formal policies, processes, and monitoring approaches for wellbeing and EDI, including risk analyses and financial impact assessments, ensuring a structured and compliant approach to employee support. Identified and mitigated 3 major wellbeing related risks through structured risk analysis.
- Strategic Collaboration & Advocacy: Cultivated and managed strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive committee, HR leadership, and cross functional department heads, to champion wellbeing and EDI initiatives and align them with overarching business objectives and the Employee Value Proposition. Served as the primary employee wellbeing expert and champion, representing and promoting wellbeing internally and externally.
- EDI inclusive culture: Restructured and relaunched key employee communities: Women at Gamma, Wellbeing community, Multicultural community, and LGTBQ community, fostering a more inclusive and engaged workplace. Organised innovative wellbeing events and information sessions, Publicising initiatives and creating and managing the Wellbeing SharePoint page.
- Talent Development & Leadership: Developed and delivered managing mental health and wellbeing workshops for managers. Managed and mentored the wellbeing coordinator to deliver workshops
