About Sophie Graves :

I am a scientist with a passion for learning and sharing my love of science with others. I currently do this through teaching which has been my vocation for the last 10 years. 

Experience

I worked as a science technician for 5 years, then got the bug for teaching so trained to be a teacher. I the taught high school science for 5 years and did outreach projects with primary schools. 
 

In 2016 I moved into further education and have worked teaching mostly biology to six form students and adults for the last 5 years 

Education

I have GCSEs in History, technology and science these are the areas in which I excel. 
 

I have A-levels in Biology, Physics and Music 
 

I have a BA Hon in Human and Biological Sciences with Music. I’m my degree I chose several modules in musical history and studied Plagued parasites and people, looking at social and economic routes of disease over time. 

I gained Qualified teacher status in 2012
