Sophie Walsh

I am a highly motivated, reliable, and creative individual with a hardworking mindset and a diligent work ethic and strong people skills. I take pride in being a team player and have an impressive eye for detail, constantly seeking opportunities to contribute, learn new skills, and develop connections and relationships with both customers and collueges. I am a very curious individual and constantly question things I may come across, allowing me to easily think outside of the box to create new, unique ideas. As a self-professed perfectionist, I consistently uphold the highest standards in my work and ideas. I will bring to this role experience in working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a good attitude throughout stressful situations. I am very confident when communicating and believe I present my ideas thoroughly with no miscommunication. I am very passionate about my work and aim to exceed in everything that I do, as well as this I am also an organised individual who is constantly on top of my work. I pay detailed attention to presentation and how my work looks and use my creative skills to ensure that it is of the best standard. I will bring a warm and enthusiastic attitude to the company, which contributing a positive and vibrant energy within the workplace.

I have previously worked in hospitality as well as retail and found that I am well suited to both industries due t my resilience and strong-mindedness. I think that one of my greatest strengths is my confidence. I am a great speaker in front of a crowd when presenting ideas and believe my confidence allows me to be more professional and present my ideas efficiently. This useful trait also demonstrates my willingness to embrace unique perspectives and contribute to the company’s objectives. This strength has developed the most throughout my time at university, due to my contributions in seminars and my experience in presenting in front of an OOH advertising company, OPEN media. I then received feedback on my presentation from the collueges at OPEN, which has led to my strength being developed further. Another strength is my positive attitude which serves as an asset to the company, particularly in navigating stressful situations. This allows me to work more efficiently and ensuring that setbacks will not affect my work negatively. 

I completed sixth form with grades A* A B, in sociology media and art. I am currently studying at university for a marketing degree, allowing my creative skills to develop further.
