2021 – 2023 Associate Financial Compliance Consultant, IQEQ Consulting (formerly Laven Compliance), City of London (full time)

• Lead consultant for 10+ clients and supporting consultant for a further 10+ clients, managing client relations, budgets and successfully communicating the benefits of consulting services in sales efforts.
• Entrusted to lead and deliver quarterly regulatory reporting projects for over 15 clients after 6 months in this role. Ensured timely submissions, demonstrating efficiency and meticulous attention to detail. 
• Collaborated with a team of 30+ consultants to implement bespoke compliance solutions and interpret changes in financial regulations.
• Conducted anti-money laundering/terrorist financing audits and risk assessments, identifying and analysing potential issues, and providing actionable recommendations.
• Developed new products for clients - including complex financial forecasting models, contributing to revenues exceeding £200K.
• Facilitated financial service businesses in meeting the stringent authorisation requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority in order to commence regulated activity in the UK.

• First Class Honours.
• Dissertation project – “Money laundering in cryptocurrencies: Anti-money laundering challenges from the perspectives of regulators and the industry”; I was awarded a pass mark of 75%. Conducted qualitative interviews with industry experts.
• Notable topics of study included Management Science, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, The Digital Economy, The Global Business Environment and Quantitative Analysis.
