A keen learner, passionate about Horticulture, arboriculture, wildife and the environment. 

Former head gardener at. 23 acre luxury retirement village in Ilkley. Currently Operations Manager and horticulture lead for Rewild Landscapes.

Currently studying level 3 Horticulture Supervisor as a distance learner at Pershore College following successful completion on Level 2 Horticulture with Distinction. 

Over the last 5 years I have worked in various roles in Horticulture and landscaping. Most notably as head gardener for a luxury retirement village in Ilkley. With 23 acres of landscaped grounds, gardens, water features, pond, woodland, meadow, allotments and playing fields to care for and develop. During my time here I completed my level 2 Horticulture apprenticeship as a work based learner passing the course with distinction. 

Most recently I have been helping the growth and development of Rewild Landscapes Ltd as their operations manager and horticulture lead. 

My role is focused on managing teams and contractors on site in the successful completion of landscaping projects. The business has a focus on creating wildife friendly spaces and habitat features heavily within garden designs.

I also run the maintenance and garden management programmes mostly consisting of clients who's gardens we have designed and built but also including some commercial and private gardens wanting a wildlife friendly approach to garden maintenance. 

I am also responsible for staff training, health and safety and take the lead with planting design and lists.

Currently studying level 3 Horticulture Supervisor as a distance learner via Pershore College. 

Level 2 Horticulture completed with overall grade of distinction.
