Originally known as Reflexis systems, they have been taken over by Zebra Technologies who specialise in barcode, printing technology and scanners. Zebra Technologies is the leading provider of AI-powered workforce management, execution and communication solutions for multi-site organizations in retail, food service, hospitality and banking. Zebra has operations in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia. The European clients are mainly in retail operations and restaurants. The product suite is formed of scheduling model, time and attendance and task management. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Act as the Professional Services Consultant on projects by leading efforts for configuration, validation, and integration
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and technical/engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Co-ordinate with functional consulting group to understand and demonstrate product capabilities to key client stakeholder teams

Client: Matalan:                      Project: Loyalty Solutions                  Role: Test Lead

The purpose of the Loyalty Project was to improve Matalan’s loyalty and marketing propositions offered to its customers. Matalan’s Campaign and Loyalty offering was been identified as requiring a refresh to enable the delivery of “objective focussed” projects in addition to the single activities they utilise within Marketing. With a successful implementation of a new Campaign Management system, Matalan were aiming to create more attractive and targeted marketing and loyalty. Matalan also lacked a Loyalty Engine – meaning promotions were controlled within numerous systems, making this task manual, time consuming and prone to errors. Matalan also made the decision to implement a new Campaign Management System - Salesforce Marketing Cloud, along with making the necessary changes to the other systems that make up loyalty.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Manage SIT and E2E test design and execution 
• Produce SIT, UAT, OAT, E2E Test Plan, lead and manage E2E test resources 
• Document and agree the defect management procedures to be used 
• Defect management and summary reporting from SIT onwards

ITM Limited is a specialist provider of data, administration. ITM supports Pension Administrators by preparing web-based Pension administration product. It provides Auto-enrolment product for small and big employers including IFA’s. ITM is also an expert in Pensions data migration. I joined ITM as a Test Analyst and progressed myself over the years to be a Test Lead. I have been a lead tester on major ITM projects in the last couple of years. I have been fully responsible in terms of testing for enhancing the quality of the applications in terms of functionality, performance, security. As ITM have been looking to shift their approach from manual testing to automation, I have been taking some important steps in order to bring this in place and to implement this on our complex products.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Enhanced company’s workflow for issues & development by simplifying it and by implementing the steps within SDLC in it
• Developed the dashboard utility used across the System and User Acceptance test phases for the project in order to keep track and smooth flow of work

Quintiles are a pharmaceutical services company offering clinical, commercial, consulting and capital services. The clinical research organization performs medical research study, provides customer with sales force, product and brand solutions, provide data driven recommendations to customers to help them achieve success. As a Test Analyst I was responsible for ensuring smooth flow of systems and ensuring that at no instance the quality of the software was compromised. Quintiles was a critical environment as the studies were conducted on human beings and even a minute negligence would cost someone’s life. As a result, all the due diligence and protocols had to be followed.

• Test Analyst for a leading US Clinical Research Organisation

TCS, India                               July 2007 – May 2009                            Software Tester

Aviation wing of TCS had a project with DHL UK, where TCS was responsible for developing a desktop-based application for DHL for processing all the shipments coming into the UK via air. The system dealt with round the clock processing of shipments coming into the UK. The application generated all airway bills for shipments which in turn use to be processed. The application evaluated the processing of individual shipments based on different tariff codes. I joined as a junior tester and very quickly progressed to software tester level with good understanding of testing process.

• Working in the Agile development environment with frequently changing requirements
• Reviewing Use cases, design documents, requirement traceability matrix
• Actively participated in scrum and other review meetings
• Provided a detailed handover to the clients who would be moving the project forward after the initial phase.
