Social

About Sylwia Lachowska:

Nowadays social media are an inseparable element of our lives, I was fascinated by the field of advertising, which has a huge impact on sales, which is why I chose journalism and social communication studies, whose plan included many marketing and advertising modules, where I could deepen my knowledge. The topic I chose for my dissertation was:

“Commercial use of female image in media in the aspect of legal norms”. The aim of the study was to present legal regulations in Poland regarding the media in the field of disseminating the image of women and to compare them with legal solutions used in America. The main thesis was that women are portrayed in commercial media in a stereotypical way and treated as a sexual objects. From the empirical and theoretical research carried out, it can be concluded that the female image is an inseparable element of advertising. Women are portrayed in a more undressed and sexually explicit way than men.

After graduation, I wanted to get to know a different culture, improve the language, and gain experience in the profession, which is why I went to the UK. The reality at the very beginning turned out to be different than I assumed in terms of finding a job. The period of adaptation took me 3 years, where I gathered experience primarily in contact with the client, in places such as coffee shop, work in hospitality in office building, or in a school canteen. So that it would be easier to start a new stage in life, which is looking for a job in my profession and feel fully satisfied with what I do in life and from expanding my knowledge,  and gaining new experience and qualifications. I became interested in your company because I am a post-graduate who wants to develop and gain the experience you offer. I am a very energetic, hardworking and reliable person with a genuine desire to be helpful. I always try to present a positive attitude. You can find me as a team player with the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment. I have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong personality with a good sense of humor.

I am looking for a position where I would be able to excel as I strive to progress and learn as many skills as needed. I have always had the motivation to push forward in every position I have been in. It excites me to learn new skills and explore new environments.

Experience

I don't have any professional experience because I have only graduated recently.
