I am a highly experienced Teaching Assistant, and I have successfully completed and passed CELA qualification which I have excelled in, enabling me to possess a coveted teaching license. My extensive background encompasses over 5 years of classroom-based experience, where I have adeptly conducted lessons for diverse age groups. My expertise shines particularly in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), catering to the needs of younger learners, and extends seamlessly into Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, where I possess a profound understanding of the British curriculum.
Currently, I am eagerly pursuing the next chapter of my career as an ESL/EFL teacher. I am confident in my ability to meticulously plan and deliver compelling English lessons that are tailored to the specific needs and proficiency levels of my students. Experience
My professional experiences have involved supervising and assisting children individually and in groups, supporting their development and ensuring access to learning. Responsibilities include managing classroom behavior, serving as a positive role model, promoting inclusion, building trust with students, providing feedback, handling administrative tasks, facilitating technology use, preparing lesson resources, upholding policies, and ensuring classroom readiness. Additionally, my experiences involve helping students needing extra support, assisting with lesson planning, managing class behavior, maintaining display boards, handling administrative tasks like laminating and photocopying, and providing support during SATS exams.
Education
My most recent educational achievement was obtaining the CELTA certification. This intensive 5-week program demanded unwavering dedication as I met tight deadlines to ensure that my assignments met the requirements and standards of Cambridge University and were submitted punctually. Throughout the course, I undertook meticulous planning and delivered high-impact lessons tailored to the needs of beginners, pre-intermediate, and upper-intermediate students.
My lesson plans, complete with teaching materials and resources, were marked and assessed by my tutor to evaluate their suitability for student learning. I consistently presented exceptionally robust lesson plans that not only served as examples for fellow educators but also equipped them to effectively deliver my lessons when required.
