I am a seasoned and entrepreneurial real estate and hospitality executive with 20 years of increasingly more senior experience in the sector in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. I have generated many solid investment returns from companies and assets, restructured businesses out of insolvency and created, developed and delivered several projects. I have spent ten years of my career as an operating partner to private equity and family offices: my strength lies in creating high-level financial and strategic goals and then bridging these with robust operational execution.

My wide-ranging technical skill set and experience includes investments, mergers & acquisitions, disposals, non-performing loans, financings, special situations, equity raising, debt raising, developments, feasibility studies, planning, joint ventures and restructuring.

Lately I have been exploring how to bring nature based solutions to the world of hospitality and real estate to 'do my bit' for leaving the world a better place. 

My leadership style is inclusive and I adhere to an analytical and systemic approach to management. I speak fluent English, Dutch and German and conversational French. Over the last 30 years, I have worked and lived in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
