Tamara Balding

A confident and diligent LPC Student at BPP Law School with an undergraduate degree in Criminology from Durham University. I am currently a Paralegal at a U.S. Immigration Law firm and have continued to expand my wider legal experience through completing virtual legal internships and undertaking Pro Bono work with LEASE Case Summaries. I am actively seeking further legal positions and experience to enhance my knowledge. I strive for efficiency and actively find solutions to problems whilst always maintaining high standards and meticulousness in my work. 

Currently, I am a Paralegal at NNU Immigration (14th February - Present)

• Responsible for engaging with clients, understanding, and managing their expectations and concerns and liaising with them throughout the application process. 
• Responsible for making visa appointments for clients at the US embassy and paying the required fees.
• On a daily basis, handling complex client immigration files, collating and reviewing appointment packs to ensure clients are prepared for their interviews at the US embassy.
• Responsible for printing, collating, reviewing and packaging all client legal applications which must be filed in the U.S.
• Drafting legal forms and documents including but not limited to Attorney Letters, Company Supporting Letters, DS-160 forms, and VCU-01 forms for clients.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from the University of Durham (2:1)

I have also studied and passed the PGDL at BPP university and I am currently doing my LPC qualification part-time whilst working as a Paralegal full-time.
