French educator looking to innovate French learning. With two years of experience in preparing young learners for their IGCSE examinations and AS level examinations and around four years of experience in preparing French learners in India for their GRADE 12 board exams. Passionate about everything I strive to do. Challenges invigorate my enthusiasm. 

Worked as a French Educator for Velammal Global School, training students with the  Cambridge curriculum. This included preparing students for the Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level examinations, and imparting skillsets which included reading, writing, listening and speaking through innovative teaching techniques. The methodology also included assessing and improving performance using visual, audio and kinaesthetic learning methods in par with the standards of the Cambridge curriculum.  Was also given additional responsibilities as Lower Level Cambridge Co-ordinator as well as  Training and Events Co-ordinator.

Worked as a French Teacher for Grades XI & XII for St. Ann's Matriculation Higher Secondary School preparing students for the Higher Secondary Public Examination. The job included teaching students to speak, write and understand French to the level of the books C’est Génial & C'est Chic! The methodology focussed on imparting students with higher order thinking skills rather than traditional teaching methods; and understanding topics rather than memorising them. 

Worked as a French Teacher for Grades XI & XII for St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School. The job included preparing students for the Higher Secondary Public Examination, and teaching students to speak, write and understand French to the level of the book “C’est Génial”. The methodology involved inculcating innovative teaching methods like games, songs, pop culture etc.

Worked as a Catalog Specialist - French at Amazon Development Centre (India) Private Limited. Worked from August 2009 – June 2011. Part of the Media process handling the Music and DVD process. Work responsibilities included handling all tasks put forth by the buyers and managing and interacting with them in French.  

Worked as a sales executive at The Rain Tree a five star ‘ecotel' hotel. Handling corporate accounts. Optimising the average room revenue (ARR). Developing and updating database of the business, peripheral and external markets. Planning PR meetings for the clients. 

Worked as a Senior Relationship Manager for the iSchool division of Everonn Systems India Limited from November 2008 to July 2009. Managing a team handling premium schools in Chennai. Updating database of schools with business and creating a peripheral. Conducting product demonstrations at schools. Handling sales and client management of schools.  

Did pro-bono work on a daily basis for 6 months at the National Association for the Blind. Aided Tamil-speaking visually handicapped students with basic English communication skills. Designed and implemented interactive games and competitions. 

Completed my Bachelors in French at Loyola College, Chennai. 

Completed my Cambridge International Cerificate of Teaching and Learning.
