Worked with self-employed and employed colleagues on both the operational and clinical sides of the two, predominantly NHS, practices I managed, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running.

Handled all P&L reports, resourcing, costs, budgets, and compliance, as well as managing those in my team, made up of 27 staff members, to reach their full potential. I worked closely with practice clinicians, with support from experienced central teams, to provide the highest possible levels of care and maximise revenue.

Duties included, setting up for various treatments, making sure the dental surgery was well ventilated and well lit, developing radiographs, charting, updating the patient’s medical history, filling out PR and FP17 forms, making sure the highest of standards in infection control are always adhered to, consoling anxious patients, and putting them at ease. I am lead dental nurse which means any down time I have I am helping our practice manager with her duties, such as various audits and helping to train the trainee dental nurses, which includes the running of meetings.
