I am passionate about advancing global food safety systems through science, policy, and collaboration. My career bridges the worlds of regulatory, academic, and entrepreneurial food safety. Driven by a vision of safer food, healthier communities, and sustainable production.
My mission is to transform food systems by fostering stronger multistakeholder collaboration, including government, industry, academia, and consumers, to protect public health and promote international trade through safe and sustainable food practices.
Experience
I worked at SENASICA Mexico, supporting the implementation of national food safety programs and regulatory compliance. I am a certified FSMA Lead Trainer, guiding food businesses through U.S. FDA regulations and preventive control plans.
I founded a pest management company, applying hygiene and sanitation protocols that align with GMP and HACCP standards.
Additionally, I deliver HACCP, food safety training, and private consultancy in GFSI standards.
