Tomos Whelpton

I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a 2.1 Bachelor of Architecture in 2023 and joined DK Architects in August shortly after my graduation. 

While university helped me develop valuable skills and allowed me to express my creativity, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in practice and would like it to continue as it suits my learning style. I am therefore looking for another Part 1 Architectural Assistant role to broaden skills and experience in the architectural field. I am also interested in the Level 7 Architectural Apprenticeship course, which allows students to gain their Part 2 and 3 qualifications while continuing to work in practice. 

I have completed my post graduate placement at DK Architects in Hove. DK Architects is a small practice with a focus on residential projects which has given me the opportunity to deliver across most of the business. This has included measured building surveys, being relied on to produce and coordinate planning applications and dealing directly with clients.
