About TOPE FALADE:
Energy and Sustainability Specialist with a proven track record in leading the delivery of environmental sustainability strategies, and with experience of delivering measurable success in improving environmental performance and sustainability culture within an organisation. An excellent communicator with high-level influencing skills and with the ability to gain credibility at a senior level across a large, complex organisation. Has good knowledge of Net Zero, SECR (Scope 1,2 &3), energy portfolio management; energy consumptions, TCFD, ESOS, CCA & CCL discounts. Experienced in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, Energy efficiency and Energy and carbon reporting. Experienced in monitoring and reporting energy and sustainability data towards developing sound energy efficiency and sustainability programs. Has practical experience of managing energy efficiency issues in buildings (energy meters, insulations, retrofits, EPC Survey and Carbon reduction strategies), managing Renewable energy Assets (with extensive knowledge of the Renewable Heat Incentives, Feed in Tariffs, heat pumps, Solar PVs and EV Charging).
Demonstrates effective communication, refined leadership and dynamic people management skills with a poise for excellence in different work environments.

Experience
I have a PhD in Sustainability Assessment of Biomass to energy Supply Chain Systems and a Masters’ degree in Environmental Technology and have garnered in-depth knowledge in environmental performance and compliance, energy efficiency and sustainability programmes. I have also gained practical experience in Energy and Carbon Management and a proven ability to liaise with clients, residents and all other stakeholders.
Highlights of my experience includes:
- Working with Town and Country Housing as the Sustainability lead, drafting its sustainability strategies, developing action plans to accomplish the strategy, taking the business through SHIFT accreditation, developing systems for sustainability data collection and reporting and developing a roadmap for 2040 net zero goal. I also managed all energy, heating and decarbonization issues of all their homes. This include managing the Renewable Heat Incentives issues, FIT and, EVs and Solar PVs, whilst ensuring the business meets its Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting Obligations.
- Working as the Energy and Asset Officer of Acis Group Limited, overseeing the renewable energy assets for the group. Overseeing the RHI and the FIT payments, liaison with the FiT Licensee, Ofgem, and the customers, Coordinating RHI site audits by Ofgem and their representatives, undertaking desk audits of the renewable assets. Overseeing carbon and energy management of about 7,000 properties in the UK. Presently developing an Environmental Management System for the organization whilst ensuring it meets the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) guidelines.
- Worked with Cadder Housing Association, a social housing provider in the north of Glasgow on a Scottish Government Funded Project aimed at providing environmental sustainability support and reducing the carbon footprint of the organization and that of its tenants.
- Developing an energy monitoring programme for the housing association. Gathered energy usage data and converted to CO2 emissions for each of the households to come up with a carbon reduction plan.
- Represented Change Agents UK in Scotland to work on a Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) Funded project, focused on providing energy saving tips to vulnerable consumers and training frontline workers.
- Delegated as a Project Officer/Administrator for a Keep Scotland Beautiful & Climate Challenge Fund Project, at Next Step Initiative, Glasgow, Scotland, focused on Carbon management, energy saving and promoting waste management and recycling practices within Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
