About Vasilis Ampelourgos:

My name is Vasileios Ampelourgos and I graduated from the Veterinary department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece.I am 26 years old and I live currently in Kent with an active dependent visa and right to work in the UK. Because of not being a member of RCVS due to english requirements I want to work as veterinary care assistant in order to improve my english.

Experience

I worked as a junior veterinarian for one year approximately in my hometown in Greece(2024-2025).My daily work was consisted of clinical examinations checking on patients' history and discuss with the clients about diagnostics and treatment protocols.Moreover, I conducted bloodwork and have a little experince in the microscope.Lastly, I participated in bitch spays and castrations with supervision.

To continue with I worked as a veterinarian in the Greek Military due to my mandatory national service for 9 months in 2023-2024.My role was about food safety and water quality in order to identify harmful microrganisms.

Education

I graduated from Veterinary School in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki,Greece in 2023.
