About Wayne Barber:
I am very passionate about maths and have tutored the subject for over 14 years both privately and at various secondary schools in either a whole class environment, small groups or on a 1-1 basis. I enjoy most sports, especially football and cricket and during my spare time I enjoy socialising , going out for family meals, listening to music, gardening and going to places of interest. I can work independently or part of a team, able to work to strict deadlines and consider myself to be reliable, hard working, honest and able to communicate well both orally and in writing with my peers and senior colleagues I have worked with in banking for over 3 decades, hence where my passion for numbers has derived from and headed up teams in both Treasury and Derivatives Departments during my banking career before being made redundant and changing career paths and joining the teaching profession. I hold a teaching degree and various other professional qualifications and consider myself to be computer literate and currently use SIMS and Arbor for student registration, behaviour, student’s detail/history and needs etc.
