Customer Service - As a head barman I worked in a busy, noisy & pressurized environment. I was able to improve my listening and communication skills to ensure the best possible experience was delivered by myself and the team to our clients
IT Skills - I have studied programming, coding and digital. By understanding the mechanics of the architecture, I find it easier to grasp different systems quickly and I am proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
Problem Solving - Throughout my previous work I’ve always had to use problem solving skills under pressure. An example of this was when there was a power cut on Valentine’s Day during the evening meals and I had to improvise with candles. This kept the customers happy, and many said it was an enjoyable decision with the candles
Communication - In my construction role I had to communicate with different colleagues from various countries with diverse backgrounds. I managed to successfully communicate with all along with developing my working relationship with the site managers to relay key information

A busy gastro pub featuring refined pub classics & premium beverages where my responsibilities included training new employees, cash handling, customer service and running events
Construction Apprentice, Renewable - June 2020 to Aug. 2020, June 2021 to Aug. 2022 & June 2022 to Aug. 20 22 General labouring support, though I was able to bring my mathematical & organisational skills to the fore by undertaking the measurement calculations as well as ensuring the correct materials were available on-site at the appropriate time
Achievements
Headmasters Academic Endeavor Award - Awarded for commitment in mathematics & dedication to consistently going the extra mile Chief Scout Gold Award - The highest award available and consisted of nine defined challenges, six activities & a personal challenge. These
focused on teamwork, leading an expedition & team leading by coaching three new Scouts
1st XV Brentwood School - Achieved through hard work & commitment especially on the training pitch and giving my all for the team
