I take particular pride in my CAD experience, with 10+ years working with Solidwork, earning multiple qualifications from the Solidworks certification program and 8+ years using drafting software such as AutoCAD and Draftsight. 

I have a hands on ethos to manufacturing and prototyping with strong skills developed through a practical university course, career experience of in-house manufacturing facilities and regular self-driven projects.

R&D Design Draughtsman — AVT (Andover)  - One of the UK’s leading ventilation suppliers, specialising in bespoke Air Handling Units for commercial and domestic applications.

- Management of job orders to completion through component selection to using AutoCAD and Solidworks to create GA, assembly and production drawings

- Detailed design of AHU bulkheads using Solidworks sheet metal software to create flat patterns and cutting sheets for supplier quotes and production.

- Updating and creation of O&M  manuals for product visualisation, manufacture and construction.

Project Design Engineer—Wessex Lifts (Romsey) - UK’s leading manufacturer and provider of residential and platform lift solutions. One of the UK’s leading  platform lift manufacturers, providing international accessibility solutions, with residential lifts and commercial elevators.

- Interpreting of architect drawings to draught product site drawings for client approval using Draftsight. 

- 3D modelling of platform lifts, through floor lifts and various parts and assemblies for planning permission and general arrangement drawings.

- Maintenance of PDM procedure, engineering logs and O & M manuals.

Student Designer  - ERA screens (Andover) - Bespoke office furniture manufacturer specialising in office pod, booth, acoustic tile, seating and screen design

- Successful production of quality engineering drawings for client approval and production drawings for existing product ranges.

- Creation of 3D models and realistic renders for visualisation and product brochures.
