Yaseen Hussain

For the past three years I’ve worked in different security roles across corporate buildings, retail stores and other busy sites, making sure people, property and assets are kept safe. I’ve done site security for agencies like Fleet Ville Security and Bidvest Noonan, where my day-to-day involved access control, patrolling, monitoring CCTV and dealing with incidents when they happened. I’ve also worked on the retail side at Zara and Sainsbury’s, working with store managers and sometimes police to prevent theft and keep the environment safe for staff and customers. Most recently I’ve been on exterior patrol for JP Morgan at both the Canary Wharf and Blackfriars sites, focusing on access checks and visible deterrence. Before that, I worked as a blood courier for the NHS, which required a high level of trust, communication and time-sensitive work. Across all these roles I’ve built strong skills in observation, conflict handling and customer interaction, and I hold a valid SIA licence.
