About Yaya Glory:

I am an experienced and passionate dietitian with strong background In nutrition knowledge , enteral feeding, ONS and motivational interview empowering individuals to take control of their health through evidence based dietary interventions. My professional journey has equipped me with necessary communication skills, clinical expertise and experience necessary to excel in my role.
I am deeply committed to improving quality of life for my patients by providing personalised , evidence based dietary interventions. I am registered with appropriate professional bodies such as HCPC and  BDA and also a member of sub interest group- Parenteral and enteral nutrition group (PENG) and BAPENG.

- Access patient’s ’ dietary habits, nutritional intake and health history to develop an understanding of their specific
nutritional needs
• Develop individualized, evidence-based meal plans to support nutritional rehabilitation, addressing both
physical needs and psychological aspects of eating

Provide one-to-one counselling sessions to address fears, anxieties, and negative beliefs about food.
• Utilize motivational interviewing and other therapeutic techniques to help clients feel empowered to make healthier food choices
• Providing guidance to patients in developing structured meal plans that help normalize eating patterns
• Implementing meal exposure work, gradually introducing feared foods to help clients overcome food- related anxieties and increase food variety in a supportive environment

-prescribed and order ONS to support patients requiring alternative mode of nutrition 

Ellern Mede Specialist Hospital, London Specialist Dietitian Eating Disorder- January 2024- June 2024

-Participate in initial assessments and lead on anthropometry, diet history and activity levels etc
 -Provide a family based treatment approach, supporting parents and careers along with the young people.
Formulate and implement dietetic treatment plans based on evidence and best practice approach.

-Taking responsibility for my own case load, initiating, planning and reviewing care plans and, if appropriate
in agreement with the line manager / patients consultant.
- Deliver group talks and presentations on normal healthy eating.
