Yeonju Lim

Hello, I am currently studying a master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance at Bayes Business School. While my academic background has primarily focused on accounting and finance, I am currently studying International Financial Standards Reporting certificate module (IFRS) by ICAEW and will receive IFRS certificate around August. I believe this pre-study of IFRS will helpful to study towards ACA or CIMA in the future while I am working as an auditor. 

During my professional background as a bid manager, I led and managed bid processes for over 40 projects. I conducted initial research on potential bid opportunities and computed bid prices. Moreover, I worked with over 50 clients to negotiate deals and developed a bid calendar to ensure all projects will be completed on time. From this role, I have learnt a proper business attitude and how to build positive relationship with clients. 

Throughout my academic journey, I have been built strong academic background in accounting and finance. During my masters degree, I took the finance modules which taught me how to value the enterprise analysing companies financial statement and forecasting their future performance using excel.
