Zahra Patel

My name is Zahra Patel and I have recently finished my GCSEs and am looking for a summer job. Most recently, I have been doing some work experience as a teaching assistant in Trevelyan School, in Windsor. This job has been a good fit for me, given that I have strong communication skills that allow me to easily speak with and help children who find a subject particularly challenging. The subjects I have been helping with are English and Spanish, as they are what I am going to be doing for my A-levels. I am incredibly passionate about connecting with many different people from many different places, which is why I also did French GCSE and why I hope to apply to an external GCSE Arabic course next year. I would like to work in a place where I can develop my social skills even further, whether that's by working in a team or with customers, I would love to put my social skills to the test. Furthermore, I aam a dedicated, hard worker and eill always try to get the job done in the best and most efficient way as possible. Given that I'm able to communicate well with others, I am incredibly persuasive and kind and can work well in a team as well as being able to thrive as an individual.

Recently, I have been doing some work experience as a teaching assistant in Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor, helping small groups of children, as well as individual children, who struggle.in English and Spanish. Additionally, I have been extra set of hands for the teachers who may need help with marking, displays, and other manual aspects that come with the job.

I have just finished my GCSEs at St Mary's School in Gerrards Cross, where I have completed English language anad literature, Maths, Combined Science, French, Spanish, History and Art GCSE, and my results look promising. In addition, when two years ago I did a one year intensive course and attained a 7 (an old A) in Media GCSE.
