About Zante Johnson Hylton:
I am currently studying for my Master of Arts in History at University College London (UCL). I also did my undergraduate degree at this university in the same subject. I am currently the lead academic representative for the history department at UCL and I work for UCL's Centre for the Study of the Legacies of British slavery. I enjoy writing, so much that I have joined the research hub at ‘Thrive Future’ an organisation which advocates for women's rights. I also enjoy reading, one of my favourite genres is crime. I have plenty of experience in the education, customer service and legal sectors and am looking to gain more experience in sectors where I can transfer my skills obtained from my studies.
Experience
I have experience in customer service, education and in the legal sector. All of which have enchanced by communication and organisational skills. I have worked with children between the ages of 11 and 18 assisting them with their reading and writing, and have tutored in English Literature and History.
Education
I have an upper second class honorary degree in History from UCL and I have returned for my Master of Arts in the same subject, expected to achieve a merit. Before going into higher education I completed my A-Levels in three subjects: History (Grade A*), English Literature (Grade A) and Spanish (Grade A).
