Zara Ali

I am a self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and hard-working person who is always determined and enthusiastic to learn, develop new skills and undertake new challenges. I am confident that I can work both independently in busy environments and within a team setting, whilst also being capable of using my own initiative. I am an excellent team worker, and I can take instructions from all levels and build up good working relationships with all my colleagues. I am punctual with an excellent attendance record. I am confident that I can seek employment which will allow growth and make use of my existing skills and work a range of shifts whilst balancing my education and work efficiently. I am a mature team worker and adaptable to all challenging situations. I am a great communicator with proven interpersonal skills who is outgoing and tactful; can listen effectively when solving problems. When building bonds with other people and providing them with the best experience I maintain my friendly, polite, and helpful character. I am currently seeking a career in retail where I can have the opportunity to obtain work experience where I enjoy the environment which I am surrounded in.

Just recently from April I was a marketing and fundraising representative working for YFR Ltd. I was provided with frequent training and feedback sessions along with shadowing by excellent mentors and colleagues who aim to see success from each other, this was very motivating and helped me build my confidence and existing skills. I worked with a broad range of clients and co-workers, and built a positive working relationship with them which resulted in a great working environment and many great contacts too. I worked with charities such as ‘Cancer Research UK’ and ‘Oxfam’ to achieve high quality results from my door-to-door sales. My drive and commitment to succeed and meet my goals is what helped me do great whilst campaigning. I was also given the opportunity to practice new skills and grow to be a better and stronger version of myself.

I studied at Loxford School trust for my A-levels. I studied English Literature (A), Law (C) and Psychology (C).

I am now currently in University of Westminster studying Law LLB.
