But the trial would be lengthy and was located out-of-state — making it financially impossible for his parents to go with her. 'Why don't we raise the money for them?' It was an idea that took hold almost immediately, driving us to reach out to other colleagues within the Company, none of whom hesitated to help. Donations poured in and the funds came together quickly. We called our friend in for a ‘meeting’ and to his surprise, handed him the money that would allow his family to be together throughout the entirety of his sister's treatment.
