NTT DATA is a leading IT services provider and global innovation partner headquartered in Tokyo, with business operations in over 40 countries. We help develop innovative business and IT solutions for some of the most respected organisations in the public and private sectors.

NTT DATA UK is headquartered in the Royal Exchange at the heart of the City of London with another centrally positioned office in Birmingham.

Join NTT DATA in the UK and you will be joining a growing company where you will be more than just another employee, working in an environment which fosters entrepreneurial attitudes so that you have the opportunity to grow your career and stand out from the crowd. At NTT DATA we develop innovative business and IT solutions for some of the most respected organisations in the public and private sectors across areas such as consulting, cloud solutions, business intelligence, analytics, and big data.

Our Values

Clients first

First, and above all else, we place the needs of our clients. We work continuously to understand their business and we strive to resolve every concern to their satisfaction. We feel responsibility to ensure their success and we let this obligation set the direction of our work and guide our actions.

Foresight

We never settle for the status quo. Instead, using speed and foresight, we aim to anticipate the business and IT challenges that lie ahead. We consider the future of IT, as well as the future of our clients’ business; work to enhance our ability to picture the future, and with our ecosystems, adapt to the changing business environment. In this way, we help our clients meet their goals and create a brighter future for society.

Teamwork

We put great importance on enabling our employees to achieve their best through their work with each other. We believe that when a diverse group of individuals bring their unique world views together, share their wisdom, and work toward a common goal, the results are extraordinary and far beyond what can be achieved by any one person.

Our commitment to people

It’s not all about us. We’re very proud to support the Prince’s Trust, a youth charity which gives practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills such as confidence and motivation amongst 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment through under achieving in education. Our commitment to improving lives allows you to give something back to the community, and alongside your day job helps your personal development and skill building. We share The Trust’s belief that ‘every young person should have the chance to succeed’, and we support this through encouraging you to get involved in a variety of activities with The Trust.

We are also proud to offer employees the chance to work for a charity of their choice for one day a year.

Our commitment to the environment

We are focused on environmental sustainability. Our recycling programmes, energy saving initiatives and environmental training contribute to managing our carbon footprint. We encourage our people to make use of conferencing technology to limit unnecessary travel, and keep us an environmentally low-risk company.

We’ve been ISO14001 certified in our main UK offices since November 2014, and are continually focused on improving our Environmental Management System.

Consulting

We believe that our consultants are some of the best in the business. Talented people and a culture of continuous improvement are essential to helping our clients to both outperform their business objectives and improve their competitiveness. Our consulting capabilities enable total business transformation for our clients – across a number of sectors including Telecoms & Media, Insurance, Public Sector, and Financial Services.

We’re looking for people who want to own it. Whatever ‘it’ is. Own your job, own a problem, own a solution. You should aspire to step up and tell your clients: “I’ll take care of this; I’ll do everything I can to make you successful”.

Most importantly, we listen to our clients; we put them first, because we fundamentally understand that our success lies in making them successful. We’re not the kind of people who’ll just write down requirements and deliver them. Our employees typically have deep sector, business and technology experience, making them well suited to help clients navigate the challenges of today’s business climate and provide objective guidance and direction. We are inquisitive, we understand client needs, and we do what we say; we make promises we can deliver, and then deliver them.

Join a growing team of people, who want to make a difference; who have passionate mind-sets, get excited about learning new things, tackling new challenges, and who have the speed to adapt to new environments. Our rapidly-growing organisation is the perfect place to work if you’re looking to make a real impact, and where, through your own application and support from the business, you can quickly rise through the ranks.

Technology

Technology is our life blood, it’s what we do. Our clients are wide and varied, and with this comes a need for us to have a wide and varied view of technology. If we don’t have the skills we need, we grow them and expose our employees to new skills via a mixture of coaching &mentoring, training and project work.

Being able to support our clients in the latest technologies is essential to our business. With an entrepreneurial feel, our business thrives through having creative and dedicated employees who are excited by technology. By working with household brands, our employees are exposed to cutting-edge technologies, which help them to grow and expand in their chosen field of expertise or into new areas that interest and excite them.

Through our mix of permanent employees, associates and inter-company employees from other NTT DATA organisations from around the world, you’ll be stepping into an environment that is continually evolving, where you will be challenged and can grow as a person whilst developing your career.

Corporate

The corporate functions at NTT DATA are the heart and soul of our organisation. They are crucial to our smooth running and ensure that a multitude of key activities happen; from running our highly visible sponsorship of The Open Golf Championship, to the simple but equally important task of ensuring our employees get paid every month.

The corporate departments include a dedicated Recruitment function, which partners with the business to seek out the best talent for our future; an HR team which drive a strategic plan to ensure the company has high calibre employees, to fulfil company goals, oversees employee performance and supports the company's culture whilst ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and a Marketing team, which helps position us in the market place and creates and runs brilliant corporate events. Other areas include Finance, Delivery Assurance, Legal and IT, Resource Management and Sales Support.

Joining NTT DATA in a corporate function means working across all levels of the organisation; getting involved in and making decisions; being creative in order to drive the business forward and being comfortable with change, as we are continually looking to evolve and the way we do business both internally and externally. If this excites you, then come and join us.
