As we continue to grow our retail network across the UK, our search for customer service driven individuals continues to join us in either Retail or Head Office.

Retail Branch Manager
The vast majority of the Retail Team, at the forefront of webuycanycar.com, are the Retail Branch Managers. Our Retail Branch Managers are responsible for generating appointments, buying the optimum number of cars accurately and for the overall customer experience at their branch. Working as a Retail Branch Manager is like running your own business (without the overheads) so you need the ability to work on your own initiative, manage your own appointments and time and take pride and ownership of your workload.
That’s not to say you need experience or knowledge of cars (although a background in retail or customer service would be an advantage) What you do need is a positive attitude, enthusiasm, an engaging personality and a love of talking to people.
Our new staff spend their first week at a residential training induction with our Learning & Development team, being introduced the company and the day-to-day duties of a Retail Branch Manager, including a visit from the Technical team to teach you how to appraise vehicles. From induction, our new staff then spend 2 weeks working alongside a Model Branch Manager gaining “on the job” experience of helping customers through the purchase of their vehicle.

Area & Regional Management
There are 26 areas or regions with a Regional Manager or Area Manager at the helm and a fantastic mix of Assistant Regional Managers, Regional Support Managers, Cluster Managers and New colleague Support Managers. Between them, all they are responsible for maximizing the purchasing abilities of the Retail Branch Manager. We achieve this through ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring. In 2019, alone we have promoted over 20 colleagues into Area or Regional Management positions.

Recognition and sign off

Our Retail Branch Manager (Vehicle Buyers) have regular training and reviews in their role.

When someone joins Webuyanycar.com they attend a 4 day residential training induction with our Learning & Development team. Whilst at induction they are taught the ins and outs of the role, the systems and of course how to appraise a vehicle by our inhouse technical team.

Once the course is completed our RBM's spend 2 to 3 weeks with a Model Branch Manager (Buddy trainer) working alongside them to put their learnings so far in to practise.

Colleagues are reviewed at regular intervals to work towards their sign offs, incremental pay rises and ongoing success!
 

Our Bolton Branch

With over 270 locations in the UK, we have different environments we work in. Some are office buildings, some are POD's based in retail parks and some like our Bolton are converted for us, Bolton started life as a Police Station!
