Scientific Team Lead - Medical Affairs

Upwards of £65,000 + annual bonus

Oxford or Manchester - Weekly hybrid working


Albion Rye Associates are partnered with a leading medical communication agency that specializes in providing strategic communication solutions to pharmaceutical clients in the healthcare industry.

The Editorial Team Lead will oversee the medical affairs content development for our clients.

They will lead a team of writers and editors, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of writers and editors to develop highquality medical affairs and publications content for our clients
  • Ensure content is accurate, compliant, and meets regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute content strategies
  • Actively participate in client meetings and provide guidance on content development
  • Develop and maintain editorial processes and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all deliverables
  • Manage timelines and budgets for editorial projects
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Who you are:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field within life sciences
  • Able to commute into either Oxford or Manchester on a weekly basis
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical communications agency
  • Experience leading a team of writers and editors
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat

£60,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
