Essential Fleet support have expanded our fleet of Mobile Vans running throughout the UK.

Due to the increasing demand, we have opened up another new position for an HGV Mechanic to join our team.

Who Are We Looking For? - Enthusiastic, Highly Motivated, Experienced HGV Mechanic.
Appropriate City & Guilds, NVQ or B-TEC qualifications
Class 1 License

• Desirable but not required

6 Years + Experience
Can do attitude - with the ability to work alone
High levels of customer service
Team player
Tail Lift / LOLER - Desirable
Double Deck Experience - Desirable
ABS / Diagnostic trained

What Does The Role Include?

Working within the Middlesbrough/Newcastle/Sunderland and surrounding areas from a fully equipped mobile van.
Attend customer sites carrying out Routine Maintenance, Defect Repairs.
Roadside Assistance / Breakdowns

Carry out a wide range of HGV Repairs / Defects from Bulbs, Curtain Repairs to Brake Relines, Replacing Axles ETC.

Ensure your job cards are completed in a timely manner.

On occasions, if it suits within your working hours you may be asked to travel around the UK to breakdown's, as we hold excellent working relations with our customer's and they lean on us to attend their fleet where ever they may be stranded.

You will be working on a range of different Models / Makes of Trucks & Trailer's each day.
You will require the ability to follow company procedure's & requests.

We work with Fleet Providers as well as independent transport companies within the uk, working where ever our customer's need you.

You would be required to work using your own initiative with a positive can-do attitude.

You would be required to follow company procedures, have high levels of customer service and be an overall great team player.

We offer a high-level service to our customer's, we don't just take on jobs & turn up, we deliver our service effectively sometimes this may mean going the extra mile.

We will do what it takes to get the wheels turning.

There will also be Tail-lift services and deck repairs. Irtec Licence preferred but not essential as training can be provided. To discuss further or for more information please do not hesitate to contact us on
