Senior C# .Net Developer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile GDS programme, developing solutions in an Azure Containerised environment. As a Senior C# .Net Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing microservice-based solutions using .Net Core and RESTful web services.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement object-oriented software systems using C# .Net and .Net Core frameworks.
Develop and maintain microservices-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise project requirements.
Ensure the highest level of quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate code into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
Participate in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) approaches to ensure user-centric design.
Demonstrate expertise in version control systems such as GitHub and related CI/CD tooling.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a C# .Net Developer with knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) environments.
Strong understanding of design patterns (OOAD etc) and design principles (KISS/SOLID etc).
Prior experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
Familiarity with SAFe programmes and Agile methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

Current BPSS/SC clearance.
Experience with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
