Bid Coordinator Job in Sevenoaks / Remote Working

Our client is a growing Top 150 construction consultancy, and they now require a Bid Coordinator / Bid Writer to join their bid team based in Sevenoaks. The role is offering a salary of up to £30, days holiday + Hybrid Working + Private Healthcare.


The multidisciplinary consultancy is made of 7 offices across the Southwest, South Coast, London and Manchester with circa 100 staff, they offer design, building surveying, quantity surveying, project management, town planning and urban design services to a multitude of different sectors including education, residential, commercial, leisure and defense.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Reviewing bid and client strategy documents
  • Actively participate in meetings to capture all the necessary content needed to form an excellent bid response
  • Identifying key strategic objectives and winning themes to elevate bid responses
  • Construct structured answerplans
  • Articulate complex information and streamline technical jargon for effective presentation to clients
  • Liaise with relevant contributors to provide information on the bids
  • Examine previous bid responses to select relevant information for ongoing bids
  • Liaise with the Marketing team and utilise templates to ensure that all responses are visually appealing
  • Ensure that all new content is captured in the submission database and is kept up to date
  • Proofread and format bid responses.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ideally 1 year+ experience in Bid Writing/Bid Coordination
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to review text for spelling and grammar
  • Experience of supporting bid creation and tender submissions for UK markets
  • Construction sector experience preferred.
