Description
A Finance Director is required for a leading school, based in Southampton. A salary of up to £70,000 is offered, depending on experience.

This school is rated Excellent through OFSTED, employee welfare is their top priority, and they truly invest in their staff

You will manage the strategy and operation of the financials of the school. You will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will report to the Headteacher and manage the finance support person and also the Network Manager.


Managing and monitoring the overall budget of the school, you will forecast the following years budget, monitor the revenue and prepare final financial data for the board.

You will oversee the schools payroll and liaise with the Head of HR.

Skills Required:

The Finance Director will ideally have the following experience:

  • Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA or similar
  • Ideally experience within the Education Sector or similar
  • Experience managing a team
