Site Supervisor - Furniture Strip Out (On the Tools)

14.00 per hour

Telford/Birmingham


My Client's busy, expanding service in asset management, Furniture Fittings & Equipment reuse, relocation, small deliveries, recycling, warehouse & workshop activities, and are looking for ambitious new regional team colleagues to join us.


Providing various operations across different tasks and skills or well-known organisations operating at new Operating Hubs across England & Scotland, forms part of their development strategy.

This is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing team, especially as we are looking to create a number of new positions.


Our regional Operating Centres and crews will be responsible for undertaking a multi-tasked role, supported by in-house training and with the opportunity to learn new skills.

This will also mean that your days will be varied from needing to attend client sites, undertake basic furniture fittings and equipment deliveries, delivering major projects, to operating in your regional Operating centre warehouse/workshop.

The Role is a site supervisor and requires the following:

  • Leading a team of people.
  • Health and safety briefing prior to each job.
  • Ensuring staff are wearing the correct PPE
  • Allocate tasks to Fitters, Porters and Drivers
  • Ensure customers are happy with the work done on site.
  • Regular meetings with Operations Manager
  • Ensure vehicles are loaded correctly
  • Manage the loads internally and externally
  • Taking regular photos
  • General administrative duties
  • Element of Manual Handling and Physical Duties to assist Team
  • Ensure sites are cleaned prior to leaving
  • Briefing staff
  • Reporting on near misses, findings and hazard reporting

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
