Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Toolmaker to start asap.

Workings hours are based on a double day shift 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 6am - 1pm/1pm-8pm on Friday.

As a Press Toolmaker you will be required to split your time between standard Toolmaking work - taking out and regrinding press tools, making machine spares, using spark eroders, milling and grinding.

Secondly you will be required to participate in improvement activities and identifying areas for change, to optimise performance, as well as assist with preventative maintenance.

Applicants may be be currently Injection Moulding or Diecasting Toolmakers, but you must have had good exposure to working on Press Tools, as the right personality is key in joining this friendly & "right first time" attitude of the current team.

Full refresher training will be provided on machinery on plant and able to work on tooling associated tasks unsupervised as well as with Team tooling projects.

Salary:
From £27,000.00 per year
