Up to £68,000 per annum (including car allowance)

This is an exciting time to join our team We're a charitable housing association managing around 1500 homes in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Property to join us to lead the compliance, repairs & maintenance and asset management functions for the organisation.

You will be responsible for delivering an effective, cost efficient and good quality service for all repairs, maintenance and investment works ensuring value for money and legal & statutory obligations in relation to Compliance and Health & Safety are achieved.

Supporting and driving organisational and cultural change you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of agreed strategies and related activities including: Asset management; repairs, maintenance and investment; property andcustomer related health and safety; providing managed services for others You will also support the green, sustainability and net zero carbon strategy development.

Providing strong leadership to the Property Team, you will have a strong focus on developing a positive and motivating employee culture within the organisation.

We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record of successfully managing property services within a comparable organisation, where customer satisfaction is at the heart of service

delivery.

You will have technical knowledge and understanding of property surveying and building construction, experience and knowledge of contract management, Health and Safety along with property-related legislation.

With strong communication and interpersonal skills you will have previous experience in the management and delivery of high-performing customer facing activities for a housing organisation (including management in a property function) and will have previoussuccess in developing and implementing strategies, systems and policies.

A property / construction degree, or training / experience to this qualification or equivalent will also be required.
